This is an incredibly handy cable, it enables you to connect your IDE device to a USB 2.0 (& 1.1) port. This then appears as a mounted hard drive or CD rom drive for you to access your files on the fly. Supports 3.5" HDD's, CD-R/RW and DVD -R/RW's.
What's great about this is it supports almost all major operating systems including Mac OS X!
The USB to IDE Kit allows you to transfer files from computer or notebook easily and with no fuss, back up files, or store large file archives on hard drives.
