This is the new version on our incredibly popular USB to IDE & SATA Calbe Kit (VE328). This new version has been upgraded to include a built in power On/Off rocker switch on the mains lead and the connection to SATA hard drives has been simplified so that you connect the S-ATA Hard Disk Drive to the adapter without the need to use cables.

This is a top quality product with a properly rated (fused) power lead/plug, it complies fully with all of the RoHS and CE standards and it's guranteed for 1 year.

If you need to recover data, files, anything from an IDE, ATA, PATA or SATA hard drive then this is the only piece of kits you'll ever need. Not only does it work with all the different flavours of Hard Disk Drivebut it will work with hard drives taken from a laptop (typically 2.5"), a desktop or tower PC (typically 3.5") and from games consoles (again typically 2.5").

To use you simply connect the Hard drive to the appropriate interface on the connector, plug in the mains cable and turn on hte power and then connect the USB lead from the adapter to any PC or Mac - your old or salvaged Hard Disk Drive will then appear on the PC you have plugged it into and you can see, copy, recover the data etc.

It's a great tool for IT support engineers to have in the bag or for use at home should you need to recover important files from a failed PC.
