This new version is a SuperSpeed USB 3.0 model that gives data transfer speeds of up to 5Gbps (X 10 faster than USB 2.). Like the other Probox HDD cases it does away with the need for a seperate stand - its manufactured to the highest standards from aluminum which means its light but robust and has excellent heat dissipation capabilities (no fan needed so operation is silent).
This model (the HDF-SU3S2) connects to your PC via USB 3.0 (the lead is supplied) but you can use it with any PC running USB 2.0 as well you just won't get the benefit of the SuperSpeed transfer rates. Suitable for any SATA HDD up to 1.5TB!
